WPGE Phetchaburi Company Limited (WPP)
WPGE Phetchaburi Co., Ltd. (WPP) is a joint venture company between WP Green Energy Co., Ltd. (WPGE) and STP&I Services Co., Ltd. (STPS); a subsidiary of listed STP&I Public Co., Ltd. (STPI). The company is building 7.9 MW Waste Power Plant in Thalang Sub-district, Tayang District, Phetchaburi Province, with total investment of 1,800 million baht. They signed Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA) in July 2015 and obtained Factory License in October the same year.
The facilities compose of incineration from Japan and reverse osmosis waste water treatment from Germany. The waste water treatment plant has been operated since November 2017, and the plant is scheduled to generate power in 4th quarter 2018.
WPP has policy to build Phetchaburi Plant as a model for Thai Waste Power Plant. The education center will be built which can facilitate the visitors both locally and internationally.
